Cade Blenden

Cade is a master's student in the Department of Communication Studies. Cade won the 2024 NFA Lincoln-Douglas National Debate Championship and was the top speaker in the nation. He was a four time qualifier for the elimination rounds of the NFA National Championship and a three time qualifier for the Final Four including 2022, 2024 and 2025. He was named a member of the College LD Grand Prix All-American Team in 2025, 2024, and 2023. He was a Summa Cum Laude member of the LD Grand Prix National Scholars team in 2025. Cade has extensive experience in both Lincoln-Douglas and policy debate. He is also a debate coach at NSU University School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
